Reflections

Post on facebook: How are you preparing your personal and professional life to make a commitment to serve abroad for a full term of 27 months?

Language

We ask that you complete Peace Corps Sénegal's very own Survival Wolof course. You can find the four (4) audio dialogues and the single transcript (containing text to go with all four audio files) here. We've also set up a podcast for the audio. Search iTunes for 'peace corps senegal' and you should find it. If you're hungry for more info, check out our language page. It contains information about all the many languages with which we work here in Sénegal, but is currently being edited. Not all links are fully functional.

Testing

Yes, that's right. We expect you to practice up on your Survival Wolof (see above) and pass this simple test before you show up for staging. It's not too bad, and we think you'll have fun. When you're all set, go take the test here. Good luck!

Packing

It's important to bring the right stuff with you, and not to bring things you don't need. Checkout the two packing lists in the Invitee corner.
