Aida FM is located in Linguère, a small city in the Louga Region of north-central Senegal. The radio station began broadcasting in 2005, and has been working with the Peace Corps since 2009. The broadcast zone has recently been expanded to cover a 150km radius. Radio content includes:

 
  • Religious programming for both Muslims and Christians 
  • Local, national, international and sports news in French, Wolof and Pulaar 
  • Music, including Senegalese artists, R&B, rap and pop 
  • Health programs produced in partnership with the District Sanitaire de Linguère 
  • Cultural shows produced in partnership with the group Maures à Linguère 
  • Educational shows produced in partnership with JICA and the Peace Corps
