Palmarin

Palmarin is a collection of fishing villages located 100 miles south of Dakar at the intersection of the forests, ocean and the Saloum River. The Community Reserve of Palmarin offers pristine views of the delta and interesting wildlife while the villages host seasonal wrestling matches and dances. Ideal for a weekend getaway from Dakar or part of a longer tour of Senegal and the Gambia.
